Howard aka Miami Scuba Dad has friend who wants to join us for Sat Dives and Sunday Dives. He has a scooter...are there any restrictions against scooters?

I am trying to finalize everything so I can come too! The only flights I can find get in at 12:35 a.m. (Thursday night/Friday morning) or 11:15 a.m. Friday morning. Would anyone be able to pick me up from Ft. Lauderdale airport at either of these times? What time do the dives start on Friday?

Just let me know what time and I can be there. All the Friday afternoon dives are taken. Friday morning is still available.

Fun2dive now has her schedule confirmed!

After driving to South FL on Friday, I will make the afternoon dive on Saturday and the BBQ. My parents will keep my kids for both events!

Unfortunately, I will be unable to attend the diving Sunday or Monday. :-(

That is awesome girl! I'm contacting RichardB...he says he can get you...he'll advise whether to go for the late arrival on Thursday or the Friday one! -ww

Ok, I need to ask since I haven't seen the updated dive schedule.

I am assuming Donna and I are signed up for Friday afternoon (2 tanks each or 4 tanks) and Saturday afternoon (2 tanks total, I'll have mine filled for sure by then).

Do I need to contact the dive operations to make sure we have tanks or has that been done?

Great question...I have to consolidate the RENTAL tank needs and let them know how many air and how many nitrox for RENTALS only!

Seems I will have to do this in advance AND I may have to pay however if we only have a few people renting they might let you pay directly.

SO.....

who else besides Dennis and Donna are RENTING TANKS from the individual OPERATORS??? (If renting from Marvel's shop that is fine.)

I am supposed to get some weight, weight belt, regulator and tanks from Richard & get them refilled wherever it takes them to do so - For the suit, I will either borrow one from Marvel who kindly offered it to me, if can fit me, or rent one from each operator...I have not booked anything for any of this so far so I really that I can rely on the great & kind offers from Marvel & RichardB...I will handle this while there and dive-by-dive I guess...I do have my BCD, fins, mask & snorkel, so I can still snorkel at the surface if I have to...

I'm driving down to Florida tomorrow so I won't have access to the computer until tomorrow night at the very earliest. If there are any updates to the schedule please leave me a PM or post it here and I'll coordinate as soon as I can.

Im getting in a bit late on this, but it looks like my crazy life may allow me to play some (just got back from LA Sat)

I should be good for the cookout Sat night and maybe an afternoon dive either day, assuming they have no problem with the contraption I dive (you may get your requested rebreather test dive)  I see you might need people, what do you have available?
