Here is our current Trip Buildout Check List. It's time to refresh it and enhance it. Please suggest other things we need to do to build out a trip... or suggest clean up tweaks, etc...whatever and anything to make the opening of a trip easier, cleaner, faster.  

 

IMPORTANT NOTES:

 

1. We have tried to organize the tasks somewhat in the order they need to be completed and also by funtionality and/or by whom is responsible.
2. We often put a name next to the task to delineate when its a specific person's job...if left blank it can be done by nayone OR its assume that the person doing it knows its their job... POSSIBLE AREA OF ADDITIONAL CLARIFICATION???
3. When the action is completed we put the date and the DONE as noted below so anyone looking at the checklist can see what's done and/or its time to do the next steps when the basic steps have been completed.

Here is an addition to the checklist I'd like to add and the content we then add to the trip post if the costume contest is a 'GO OR YES'

Let us know if you want us to host a fun and fab costume contest?  We need 10 people to participate and we can get great prizes such as free dive travel, cool dive gear and discounts on SD.com future trips.  To let us know either 'sign up for the costume contest if in the trip add on's or post HERE in our #4 post entitled 'WHO'S DOING WHAT' to tell us you want to participate or email trips@singledivers.com and let us know that way. Please do not do them all...just pick one way to communicate so as to not overload our volunteer trip coordinators.

While opening the Bonaire trip I did some organizing of the trip build out to be more logical in terms of what happens first, then second etc. Of course its not perfect and open for more tweaking...but another step in the right direction.
