1. Maureen and Greg depart on the group flight  8/28 AA1116 from Miami at 1:40 and arriving HAV at 3:00.  The return on 9/12 is AA 2706 departing HAV at 11:45 arriving MIA at 1:00. 

    

LAND TOUR INPUT

1. ALSO LET US KNOW your thoughts on the tours. Do you want our 'tried and true' already approved tour we did in 2023 for $1700-$1800 or do you want us to finish up the approval process for a new approved and legal tour with different options and coming in around $1400-$1500 ... and hopefully less but inflation has hit Cuba very hard.
2. Oh and if you want to do the 'humanitarian' trip after the boat where we 'rough it in Cuba for 3-4 additional days with a private family' estimated to cost about $600-800 but limited to 6-8 people max willing to rough it to experience Cuba more like the locals.

I see I am not on the list.  Then I realized that I posted that I plan to do the pre and post trips, but that was prior to booking flights.  Anyway..... I am on AA1116 from MIA to HAV on Aug 28 departing MIA at 1:40 arriving HAV at 3:00.  I am on AA 2706 on Sept 12.  Depart HAV at 11:45 into MIA 1:00.  Ed

Emi you did  PERFECT! We posted a message in the private messaging system called the PM for private message and it sends a courtesy email to let you know we need something or are giving you important info.

 

When we need you to provide info others will see or in a way to help us keep it all organized we will give you a link to a topic such as this one and you record your reply as you just did. YAY!!!

 

We always ask that you NOT post in the PM itself as it will land in everyone's inbox and they do not particularly want 20 replies to everything we ask in the form or 20 emails.

 

So you have broken the code and figured it out. And you also emailed us and we try to post those replies in any special topics we use to track something we need to track such as what people are doing before/after and who's flying into what city etc.

 

The last set of topics we use are what we call the 'trip topics'. There are 5 of them for every trip... #1 is the trip details, #2 is a Trip FAQ, #3 is the questions topic where you can ask questions about the trip, #4 is the who's doing what topic meaning who's on the trip and who is doing what, and the #5 topic is a pictures topic showing pics of where we are going.

 

And that sums up what you need to know to understand how SD uses the forums to manage our trips.

I received a text to my company cell with a link to What's App asking me to join Kamala's "CZM Group Trip."  Is this a legitimate link?  It came to my work cell and if it is legit, I need it resent to a different number.  I'm always leery of texts etc, especially on my work cell.  My employer does not allow What's App due to security issues.

I will do that.  I just recently obtained a personal cell in prep for retiring, so I haven't gotten around to changing my number everywhere yet.  I just recently ported from a landline to a cell....wow, I'm getting with the times!  LOL
