Hi MD,

Kamala will be back from Bonaire today, so perhaps you can touch base with her this weekend about your reg........I'm assuming you read the intro facts at the thread's beginning.......WW provided a shipping address where she will receive/forward your reg to ST........my impression is SD.com prefers not to have you drop off your regs in person to ST......for business reasons ST prefers all reg business be routed to him via SD.com, upon completion your reg will be shipped back to your chosen address.

Doris;
How long did it take? I'm thinking of getting mine done before the COZ trip, but would only have about 2 weeks following the Athens weekend.

Doug,
It was more than two weeks, but I told WW that I did not need my regs back right away.

In the beginning of the thread it says that the average turn around is two weeks. You should contact WW to find out if you can get them returned in time for your second trip.

I hope you can get it done in time because the service/repair is excellent.

Doug,

Mine only took 1 week, but I live in Dallas so it was easier to get to her and pick up from her. Since, I'm going to Cozy also, I will volunteer to transport yours to Cozy if needed.

2. You may send them inbound via UPS or USPS etc. however they will be returned via UPS regular ground only as that is Senior Tech's preferred carrier.

Can we pay extra to have them shipped back FedEx? The only carrier that's worse than UPS is the Post Office (sorry W!). I'm beggin' .... please! :(

Ok...for you Jexy I'll make arrangements to send back via FedEx. But for the record...I've shipped the last several sets back via USPS and had NO problems! Kamala

p.s. You will need to allow a few extra days for special handling like that. Thanks, k

Hey David...I think your regs are new so you should take them to your LDS. Currently Sr. Tech is so busy doing out of warranty repairs and repairs from people who would rather have him do their repairs whether in warranty or not that he is currently not accepting 'in-warranty' repairs.

So what does this mean?

If your regs are no longer in warranty then send them to Sr. Tech.
If your regs are in warranty but you are willing to pay for the repairs and do not care if they are considered 'in warranty' by the factory...send them to Sr. Tech.

If your regs are still covered by the manufacturer's warranty and you want them to stay that way...then return them to your LDS as Sr. Tech is no longer doing 'in-warranty' work.

Thanks -ww

You can drop them off to me as I make every other day runs to Sr. Tech to drop off regs and pick them up. Kamala

Hi Que;
Thanks for the offer to deliver my regs.
I'll be on the same flight to Cozumel, so if you can just bring them to the airport;
that would would be great.
Thanks;
Doug
