THIS IS GOOD FOR EVERYONE TO KNOW ESPECIALLY WOMEN......

Try it on your mirror-it works.

I thought it was quite interesting! And I know in about 30 seconds you're going do what I did and find the nearest mirror.... Often heard about the 2-way mirror but could never tell. So, I thought you might be interested. Do you know how to determine if a mirror is 2-way or not?
This is not to scare you, but to make you aware. A policewoman who travels all over the US and gives seminars and techniques for businesswomen passed this on.
When we visit toilets, bathrooms, hotel rooms, changing rooms, etc., how many of you know for sure that the seemingly ordinary mirror hanging on the wall is a real mirror, or actually a 2-way mirror (I.e., they can see you, But you can't see them)? There have been many cases of people installing 2-way mirrors in female changing rooms etc. When you are away from home you expect some degree of privacy and you don't want some pervert getting his jollys at your expense. For the average person it is very difficult to positively identify the mirrors surface by just looking at it. We are going to change that.
How do we determine with any amount of certainty what type of mirror we are looking at? Just conduct this simple test:
Place the tip of your fingernail against the reflective surface and if there is a GAP between your fingernail and the image of the nail, then it is a GENUINE mirror.
However, if your fingernail DIRECTLY TOUCHES the image of your nail, then BEWARE, FOR IT IS a 2-WAY MIRROR!
"No Space, Leave the Place" So remember, every time you see a Mirror, do the "fingernail test." It doesn't cost you anything.

Well, not quite. There are better ways to determine what kind of mirror it is, check this out:

Interesting. My grandmother used to say that if you didn't learn something new every day you weren't paying attention. Thanks!

yeah, not to steal your thunder, but the 2-way mirror thing is sooooooo 1970s.

if your checking out the mirrors, your wasting your time and being distracted from the real surveillane device.

with CCD pinhole cameras, you'll never know where the observation is coming from. i'm sure everyone has heard of video cameras planted in clocks and smoke detectors, but even those are old tech.

a small camera can be mounted that is looking through a very tiny hole, smaller than those pattern/texture hole in the ceiling tile you used to count when you were passed out on the floor.
OK, lets make a deal. If you stop telling me how to dive, I'll stop going down to the bus station at 2am to slap d***s out of your mouth.

Yes, but still cheap and effective (or so says the article, I don't really know). The article I linked to agrees with you, but points out that a lot of perverts aren't that sophisticated.

No wonder some of you get disgruntled! By the way, if you're not disgruntled does that make you gruntled? What the heck is that?

At least they're no longer in the rest rooms. Yes, there was a time the 2 way mirrors were poised to observe you even there.

Yes, but still cheap and effective (or so says the article, I don't really know). The article I linked to agrees with you, but points out that a lot of perverts aren't that sophisticated.

the effort to build the transparent mirror into a wall, and have an observation room behind it takes far more sophistication, planning, and expense than a small video camera would.
OK, lets make a deal. If you stop telling me how to dive, I'll stop going down to the bus station at 2am to slap d***s out of your mouth.
