Yah,
that'd be nice... it's been "Pretty Good" the last week or so...20-25'

Now if the sun can just stay hidden a week before the dive, all would be Kewl in "Rustland"...
See you both days...

Ok gang, was down in Tacoma on Thursday (job interview, wish me luck) stopped by the Ram to try and sweet talk a manager into bending some rules and giving us special treatment. The good news is we can go in and take over as much space as we can beg, borrow or steal. (Rumpus behavior is allowed and I think even encouraged :cool1: )
The bad news is they will not save us any space or extend the happy hour, or adjust any pricing (he said something about the computer not allowing it Hmmm). Happy Hour #1 ends at 6:30 but from 9:00 till close the prices adjust again. I must be losing the old charm.. :dltears:

I can understand not adjusting the HH time and prices (liquor laws) but not taking reservations sounded a little strange, so I looked at their Web site again. No wonder the manager acted like a Posted Image, it's a SPORTS BAR.
Personaly, I feel that type theme is a little hackneyed. I would rather our out-of-town guest be shown something a little classier that bespeaks the PNW. Ivar's comes to mind, or a steak house, or some other micro-brew and burger place. Just my 2 cents worth.

Oooh I vote for micro brew...reasonably priced and maybe more receptive to us! Sports bar may be too noisy for us and NO ONE gives discounts on Friday/Sat night. At least not very often!

I'm fine wherever we go...and if its the RAM...that's cool with me! -ww

might consider Shenannigans next door to the Ram, but Johnny's Dock across the Foss waterway from the glass museum might be the best...and people who are not familiar with where Bandito picks up at could drive by on the way there
if it ain't broke, fix it till it is
what if the hokey pokey really IS what it's all about?

Coleen and I hit every spot along Ruston Way and even checked out the Spaggati factory and the Ram is by far the best spot for our gang. There are a couple TV's in the place but it didnt seem much like a "sports bar" to me. there is a great big shark hanging from the 25 foot celing, so more like a "scuba Bar" is how I'd put it. the wait staff was very friendly and my burger was great.

Im looking forward to swapping a little pink lipstick with a few of my favorite SD gals, whoo hoo! did i mention i was very shy? :angel2: :angel2:

I thought Bandito's was picking us up at the Pt Defiance dock?
I do know Johhny's and was conserned that those not well versed in the way of the local divers.. would get confused if we took them too far from Ruston Way.
Shenannigans was on our list Ron and I had a great chat with one of the managers Barbro, great gal but couldn't get her to consider diving.... but with their rooms booked (people getting married) and the bar there is kind of long and narrow not real good for circulating..We voted them down.
