Tutt,
If it'll create a hardship for you, I'll be happy to buddy up with you. Don't feel like you have to do everything with the group.
To be honest I'm really not interested in Nitrox at all. Bottom time isn't everything.
I just don't want to end up buddyless because I'm the only one diving air.
Is anyone else diving air on this trip?
Besides, I can actually have bragging rights to "Diving with a Mermaid."
Well I do plan on freediving a lot. with and without the tail.

Diving air and diving nitrox will not necessarily exclude you from having dive buddies. We'll work it out...no worries! -ww

30 minutes is a viable connection in Montego Bay as there are only 6 gates at the airport so you can easily make your flight!Kamala, I emailed you about my return flights. The return flight I'm supposed to be on shows unconfirmed and there is another flight itinerary showing confirmed that takes me to a totally different airport. I'm driving to Newark where I flying out from and I'm parking in long term parking, but the confirmed return flights show me going to JFK. I have no way of getting from JFK to Newark for my car. Please let me know what to do.
As for the confirmed flight arriving in JFK vs Newark, Air Jamaica made that change and since it was made after you were ticketed, they are reponsible for transporting you to Newark. I will fax you a copy of your flight in the system both before and after the change. Since this is from the airlines own system they will not hassle you over providing the shuttle to Newark which should be a 45 minute ride. There will be others in the same boat so you are covered. Baggage and some last minute stuff:
1. JM (air jamaica) allows 70 lbs total for check in, AA 50 lbs and BonairExpress ( Curacao to Bonaire) 60 lbs. All 3 allow a small carry on not to exceed 20 lbs.
2.Jerry and Jeff...for your extra night upon arrival and Jerry's extra night on departure...you can give a faxed copy of the voucher I faxed to you (Jerry need your fax#) to whoever needs it and I'll give them the original when I arrive. I did not mail you on for the 1 night stay for Jerry Pittman. I will fax you a copy for you and I will bring it to the hotel so you guys will not have a problem checking in.
3. I don't know the price of the nitrox rental yet but I've asked the dive shop and will let you know!

Hey gang...I forgot to remind you all to pick up a bottle of your favorite 'adult beverage' if you so desire for our Happy Hours! We'll supply the mixers n munchies for the first day or so and then do a group shopping trip for the balance of the week.
Reminder about US snacks and treats:
Also keep in mind that Bonaire is VERY SMALL island and everything except salt is imported. So finding typical American products or beverages is difficult and expensive. The local versions of things are not bad...but different. So if you MUST have a snickers bar or some sort of candy/snack...please consider bringing it with you as there is only one main grocery store on the island and only 1-2 convenience stores as we know them.
