Darn the luck...looks like fingrabber may not be able to join us afterall...she's changing jobs and June is a brutal time of year for the new group she'll be working with.

On the other hand...we may have the new gal joining us that just registered on the site efish....seems she found out about us from BUDDY DIVE!!!

Our rule on SD is the trip goes REGARDLESS of how many people are booked or not! And yes...that means I have eaten spots before but just trying not to do it again! -ww

Ok, so I didn't really dump her for the trip, but I was going for lighthearted. Those things can happen. SD just happened to be going to Bonaire the same week I was originally going to be in Cozy. Fate or Luck, who knows. I'm just so ready to go and meet all of you and have a great week of diving and make some new friends. Huge thanks to WW for getting me all squared away on this trip. It has been a painless process and my hat is off to her for all of her hard work.

Well you will NEVER believe this one....

I've been scampering to fill the last spot...and I have not one but 2 ladies vying for it. Each have compelling stories as to why they NEED this dive trip (and believe me a big SD hug goes out to both of you...not to mention to be followed by many more on the trip!)

Anyway, I've talked to both of them and they are willing to put 5 gals in one suite but I need to talk to the gals on the trip so far to see if they are ok with it as well. I'm guessing the guys will have NO issues with being uh...outnumbered!

Speaking of Nitrox.

I myself do not dive Nitrox* and don't have any plans to do so in the future. Will there be any other "plain air" divers on this trip?

*By choice. I am perfectly content with the amount of bottom time I get with air.

It wasn't a dumping, it was a mutual decision after many months of trying to fix it. So wipe the tears off of your smiley. Bonaire will be fun, getting my batteries charged for the camera and the mer-mode pics.

Scubapunk, right on, glad to see you are joining our gaggle. Though I am not sure MasterCard is going to make a commercial of your story, but I think we all would agree it would be worthy of one.

This is going to be a great trip.

As for making a compelling reason to dive with us...I think the couple of hundred who have already do a much better job than I can...just read the trip reports from our previous trips and better yet...see how many people dive with us over and over and over again!

Hey my sister in arms and all you SD'ers,
I wish I was going. Just to put in my 2 cents worth.... all of you will have the time of your life diving with SD and WW. The St. Maarten/Saba/St. Kitts trip has to be the best dive trip I've been on yet. SD divers are a group of way cool professional people, with class and NO baggage. Everyone got along beautifully. A very cohesive bunch coz' WW makes sure that we all know that we are as one-a family....even my buddy Tony, was so cohesive that he never got lost... It goes without saying that all of you will have a fantastic time. You might want to hone in your pole dancing skills and such, one never knows what's going to happen next. Enjoy!

I know!! I'm trying to get off as we speak for NC...but the bosses haven't been listening to my obvious need to dive yet...but they will, sooner or later!! Once I go into full whine mode, I'll be there ( I hope!!)

....just wonderin', Teresa...what's up with the 'Nitrox-a-phobia' ?

...on a high dive intensity dive trip where you can easliy do 5 dives daily, you may find you'll have 'issues' synchronizing your surface intervals and dive profiles if you have a 'mixed' 'air' and ' Nitrox' group.

......I've been on trips where I got to watch the 'air' divers get to sit out dives and/or became restricted to rather shallow profiles while the nitrox dives kept on going....and going...and going.........

...I think you're really missing the boat here......I do Nitrox dives on any trip if available...it's GREAT stuff!
