Yup. You've been demoted from Premier Member to Member. You'll have to pony up the annual $25 membership fee to get back to where you were :wakawaka:.

Actually, a PM was sent out about two weeks ago to those whose Trial Premier membership was expiring. The PM explained that we would be switching those who decided not to upgrade to Premier down to the free level of membership. That PM also explained the perks that are part of the Premier membership package over and above what comes with the standard membership package. It clearly stated that PMs would be lost.
No single raindrop believes it is responsible for the flood.

We have been cleaning up our trial premier memberships which are supposed to last 30 days....however many have gone 3 or more months without reverting back to the standard membership. It was not fair to the members who have graciously supported the site via our $25 annual premier dues to have others recieve the same benefits at no charge.

Though I have been logging into the site, I did not receive the PM Walter mentioned. Not a big deal; you get what you pay for! When a dive trip is planned that I can attend (most likely with children), that is when I will become a premier member! Thanks for giving us the opportunity to choose.

Ok, that helps...

I'm not clear on the Photo Gallery as I still have access to it??
(just uploaded a pic as a test)
So as I understand it, being a regular member, I no longer have acess to :

- Others profile
- Ability to send PM to others (obviously since I'm blocked to profiles)
- post photos to threads (not sure I could on some threads)

and that's it?

I didn't get a PM either and had no warning that the freebie membership was about to expire. Although, I'm sure the free membership lasted much longer than deserved. However, within about an hour of paying I was back in force. Still, a note would have been nice and tends to avoid the harsh feelings of being somewhat blindsided.

I didn't get the PM either, but my trial premier membership lasted nearly a year, so I'm not complaining.

As for sending out warnings that your pm priviledges would be lost if you did not upgrade, it seems a few of you did not recieve the original message or did not see it prior to your account reverting to standard membership.

I know that Walter sent them to everyone...however we do apologize for anyone who did NOT receive one for any reason and will look into why our automailer did not send them out properly. -ww
