I'm convinced there was a glitch in the system. I consider lots of you to be friends, I wouldn't (and neither would Kamala) change your status without letting you know. I'm terribly sorry you all didn't get the PM I sent.

It occurs to me that I wasn't shown as "Trial Premier" but just as "Premier". Does that mean that I was paid up (as I thought I was)?

It means you joined prior to July 25 (or so) when we first started using "Trial Premier Member." During the first 6 months of our existence, those joining were listed as "Premier Member" during their trial period.

In the early months of SD we would simply upgrade people directly to premier member and then revert them if they did not wish to stay a premier member. As we started to quickly grow this became too cumbersome to keep up with so we created the 'trial premier member' status.

Peter I'm guessing you would have used paypal to send money and I just verified all the records again....so it must of been some 'other' singles site you sent money to!

I just noticed that I got about 7 months for free. Not a bad deal, huh? Actually, I did try to sign on and make myself respectable right after I found the site, but had trouble with needing a PayPal account. (Several other boards I belong to just take credit cards and that's so much easier.)

Well I finally got a PayPal account and after getting booted a few days ago I was able to use it for the very first time! And guess what? My first time was here on SingleDivers.com And I even got to meet (by phone) with a very nice (and rather attractive) lady to discuss membership.....darn I miss Texas!....but I digress. I highly recommend membership! Less than 7 cents a day and worth every penny.

I was pming back and forth with a member in the first week of march this year. then I saw her online the other night and I wanted to tell her how much I appreciated her and was hoping to dive with her this year maybe. So I pmed her and she cant receive pm's because her membership has timed out :lam: Bummer!
