Now I have always been one to follow the advice, or in this case - example, of my elders.

For Instance, the prestigious southern university where I work appointed a new President, who at the time was engaged (now married) to a great lady.

He is (was) 49 ... she is (was) 26 ... and they are quite the happy couple.

Now, it had me doing the math .... hmmm ... 49 less 26 equals 23 yrs diff.

Me ... 41 ... less 23 diff is ... WOO-HOOOOO!!!!!
Right on da legal cusp baby!!!!

Oh be-HAVE!!!!

(searching for the Austin smiley .... B-)

lol.... Good Luck..

I think that big of an age difference just doesn't work out.

Do you really want to raise one up?? I mean an 18 year old might look good on your arm but what are you going to talk about?? Never mind maybe I don't want to know...

Way ahead of ya .... working on a college campus Does have its' advantages.
Sometimes we wander campus, amazed at what actually passes the admissions standards. Floriduh does live up to its' namesake.

I subscribe to the campus Police Blotter. We had this one case of the cops being called into a dorm room cuz the roomie narc'd on her suitemate when she left her pot out on the counter. Cops come, and as they are booking it in as evidence, pothead roomie shows up, sees the cops taking her stash and sez, "Hey! That's Mine!"
Booked on gross stupidity, Itellya.

Anyway ...
Do I wanna date some gal who's still stuck on what I wear / drive / own ?

Wait, bad question.
That seems to be NEVER outgrown! :cool1:

My experience with online dating has been a mixed bag. Many women don't want to date men who have children already (I have an eight year old girl) But the other issue is meeting single moms who might want to have another. So. instead of trying to force the issue, I am just going to find activity groups (like singledivers) and if I happen to meet someone that's great and if not, I can still have a great time and do something we both enjoy! ie diving

Y'all are just too funny :teeth: I have had a couple of relationships from online dating, one great one not so great. Also made a lot of great friends who there wasn't that romantic click with. I'll continue to try only because it's so hard to meet people otherwise....If a woman emails you from out of state, shes looking for a place to live. That was the not so great one. Taught her to dive now she harasses me on another forum. The second answered my ad that quite clearly indicated that I spent every available moment in the water. She didn't. Six months and a few grand later she has a C card and top of the line dive gear and I never got to dive with her. We went to Maui for Xmas and while I was doing the shark dive a guy walks up to do the dive also and I knew I had seen his GF before but wasn't sure at first. I was right, she had emailed me from the Bahamas wanting to come back to Hawaii. Shoulda paid more attention, she was hot!
One of my favorite friends had a headline that read "be gentle, it's my first time"....I thought she meant online. Nope. 33 Y/O virgin who had the church thing stuck way too deep in her head. She wasn't unattractive just a little heavy, like 5'2" and 300lbs, but lots of fun to talk to. Another had 58 online dates in the last year (not me though) and we talked all the time. Just no chemistry there.
I'll leave my ad up for a while just to see what happens. The key here is to be honest. Why waste time only to have to explain that your pics was "taken a few years ago but all my hair has fallen out since" or I have put on a couple of pounds since then (50+)....Good Luck Y'all! :diver:
