:cool1: :diver: Okay, about noon it'll be. Need me to bring anything. I brought some fried chicken last year, and people seemed to enjoy that.

I can be there by noon. Any thoughts on what to bring? I assume there are grills there.

Actually they do not have grills...well there is one and the Wench has to uh...barter to use that one as its the owner's private grill!

So someone will need to bring a grill or two to facilitate cooking. Camp stoves work well for breakfast stuff as well as grilling!

Wish we were all going to be together...but at least we'll all be diving! -ww

well, we're not gonna ask you to "barter" for anything!

I've got one of those two burner Coleman stoves and one of those Weber "baby" kettle grills for tailgate parties. That should take care of doing dogs and hamburgers as well as for breakfast.

I'm also bringing a grill and campstove, coffee pot, a cooler. On the food they have a grocery store in town if nobody wants to haul that stuff along with them from home, yet everyone our best bet on food it to do a pot luck, bring or buy whatever you'd like..

Also, for those not wanting to cook out there are a few resturants and fast food places close by and of course Braums for Ice Cream if you want that..

And they have a 'burger' guy at the park that sells burgers if you don't want to bring your own lunch grub!

Since it's a holiday weekend, do you think we need to call calvin and let him know we're going to be there?

I've already left a message, but will try again to get a hold of him today. I'll post it after I talk to him.

I'll bring a cooler too, so we'll have plenty of space to store anything we buy that needs to be kept cold.

Ok all, just talked to Shannon at Athens and she's setting us up for Dock 1 right on the opposite side of the dive shop when you drive into the park... it's also very close to the bathrooms/showers and Hot Tub which is a fun gathering place at night.. :teeth:
