We need a grant-writer for this project, too. Now we just need to find some willing test subjects... but where?

I'd like to cast my vote for "all of the above except for the last two".

Personally, I prefer pleasure, not pain!

LOL Maybe! I go away for a weekend to freeze my parts off in NM, and meanwhile everyone's here chewing on each other's snorkels. It's the second rise of ancient Rome.

Honestly, I think the best dive computer on the market today is Suunto. I find that the conservative RGBM algorythm gives me an added level of safety on those aggressive diving days. It is programmable for nitrox mixtures up to 50%. I can download my dives into a computerized logbook if I want to, and I can use it in guage mode for those advanced tech dives down the road.

I think you'll see a lot of computer manufacturers following Suunto's lead by adopting the RGBM model ( Mares already has ) in the future.

I've yet to try the Suunto, I'm diving with a pair of old Oceanic Data Pluses. I'd really love to find a modern computer with the display features of the old Edge.

After being cold last weekend I know what I'd prefer. WARM WATER.
But I did notice a trend in your thinking there girl. Now could you tell us what you really think?
By the way where did you disappear to after the night dive? (and not to be seen on Sunday)

Well, given my selfless love of my fellow divers, I hereby offer to volunteer. All in the name of science, of course. All I ask is to be referenced in the bibliography and/or footnotes. Give, give, give, never take, always give......
