A little long range weather outlook from a rampant amateur:

H.Jeanne is look north towards the Carolinas, but if she spends that much time over cooler waters, she should be breaking up badly by the time she gets there early in the week.  :teeth:  Looks like just rain, although maybe a lot, and over before we arrive on Thursday, let's hope.

Jeanne decided the sunshine state of Florida was more to her liking. Apparently, she has decided to dump a little more rain on the western side of NC which really doesn't need it. Looking GOOD for Thursday.

Yeah, she hit about the same place as Frances, and I've been concerned about you folks in the middle part of Floriday, but I read elsewhere that she was losing fight before she got to Orlando. Hope that's the last one of the year for the US, unless you Floridains want to break our Texas 1886 record and not just tie it? :P

Okay, okay - give me a few minutes to size that bitch!

So - she'll be a Depression by tomorrow, probably, rain a lot in North Carolina Tuesday, but be history by Thursday. Swells shouldn't be too bad for Friday.

Good memory! And a dull weekend?

1886. I actually went back and edited the other post, wherever that was. Anyway, now we're tied. Surely it's over for the US. Could stil be more further south, but not likely to come this way the next couple months of season - we hope! :respect:

Ah ha! I said 96 on the other one first, then changed it to 86. Didn't realize I'd done that here.

Hell, I wasn't there anyway. :respect:

Hey gang...Update Time!

1. We usually stay at the Fisherman's Inn but due to a scheduling 'snafu' we will be staying at a little hotel around the corner called Hallowells. They have a very nice property but no bunkhouse. :teeth:

2. The BBQ is Friday and you know the menu for that! The BBQ will be at Fisherman's Inn where we normally have it!

3. The boat now has its own diveshop so its now parked a block or so from the Fisherman's Inn. (We'll have shuttle transportation from the hotel to the boat so no worries!)

4. We still have a few spots on the trip so if you live in the local area or drive in area...PLEASE tell your friends to join us! Or if you belong to other scuba sites you might post we have some openings! I've committed to the rooms which can be as hard to find as spots on the boats so don't forget to tell folks that as well!

5. Nitrox is available for an upgrade so if you diving it please let me know if you have not done so already! (I'll put the final tank counts together today and post on the thread so you'll know that I have your tank preferences.)

6. Don't forget to tell me your drink and food preferences...if you have any!

Hollowells does have in-room phones, and I'll have my lap-top set up if anyone wants to use it.

If you want to leave the hotel phone number with loved-ones: 252-726-5227

Alternate phone numbers if you can't reach The Wench, would be my travel phone: 806-292-1855
