Yes it was! And it also explained why my wife never felt truly loved by me...I am a Physical Touch & Quality Time kind of guy while she is a Acts of Service & Words of Affirmation kind of gal. So when I was expressing my love to her through hugging, kissing, caressing her, etc...all she thought I was doing was trying to have sex with her. She also never responded to the flowers, letters, gifts, etc. that I got her or Quality Time I spent with her because she would have preferred if I had made sure her car was filled with gas or that I affirmed her by telling her how proud I was about her job. It's not that I wouldn't be willing to do those things for her...I just never realized that is how she recognized love...especially because those types of things mean very little to me...

Just finishing up a study (2nd time) on The Purpose Driven Life, and doing a study on Women, God's Secret Weapon. On my last long plane ride, started The Rising (the last of the Left Behind Serices - great books) and finished while home after surgery. The very last book I picked up, since its a daily read, was my Bible.

'The Tortilla Curtain' by T. Coraghessan Boyle.

Kawika,

If you're curious what others here have read recently, in the Non-Diving Related Topics forum there's a thread entitled SEX!!! that covers the same ground.

(So sue me, I like catchy titles! :banghead:)

Other than work related research papers on aviation research, I just finished reading Double Whammy, by Carl Haason. He is so funny.

Being ever-so-slightly ADD, I'm reading:

"Come Thirsty" by Max Lucado
"The NSS Cave Diving Manual" by the National Speliological Society
"Introduction to .NET" by Microsoft Press
"Rainbow Six" by Tom Clancy
"Fundamentals of Technical Diving" by Jarrod Jablonski
and
"Photography & the Art of Seeing" by Freeman Patterson

Some are more interesting than others....
