I'm currently reading a classic, Rabble in Arms by Kenneth Roberts. Written in 1933, it's a must read for those who enjoy historical fiction. It puts you inside the Continental Army during the American Revolution (AKA The War of Succession from the British Empire).
No single raindrop believes it is responsible for the flood.

Reading "Doing it Right: The Fundamentals of Better Diving" and just starting "The Three Musketeers."

Just finished The Falls by Ian Rankin (Part of the Inspector Rebus series, Great series of Police/Crime novels set in Scotland). I also HIGHLY recommend the Inspector Banks series by Peter Robinson.

Before that, I also read Shadow Divers and the DiVinci code.

I love to read!

Over vacation I read 'Into the Wild' by John Krakauer. It was wonderful, but sad. He is the author who wrote the incredible 'Into Thin Air' - a book I read in one evening because I couldn't put it down.

I'm in the middle of 'Young Patriots,' by Charles Cerami. A great book if Revolutionary history is your bag.

The last truly outstanding book I read was Mark Bowden's (of Black Hawk Down fame) 'Killing Pablo' about the hunt for drug king Pablo Escobar.

I just moved into a new building and they have a library. I just finished (this morning) Rainbow Six by Tom Clancy. I like his stories. In this one, I guess I have a (very) tiny bit of sympanthy for the protagonists. The 2nd to the last chapter ends pretty great, though.

I like all of Christopher Moore's stuff.

I am in search of something new and good. I don't have to have a "feel good" book, just a good story, well written. But I've read the diving books and The Da Vinci Code (I thought that was over-rated . . . .)

But I've said it before, read The Life of Pi. I think it is a really great story.

Yeah that was a good one. I've read most of his stuff as well.

I agree with you on The Da Vinci Code. I actually preferred the book prior to that called Angels and Demons.

I just finished Janet Evanovich's latest novel "Eleven On Top" :wakawaka:

I'm almost finished with 'The Secret Life of Bees' by Sue Monk Kidd - I highly recommend it - very well written and a quick read - perfect beach book.

I just finished "No Safe Harbor" It was about the October 2001 Wave Dancer accident in Belize.

Very well written book, written by one of the men who assisted in the recovery efforts.

It will certainly make you think twice about putting blind faith in the capitan of a liveaboard!

Looks like something to add to my reading list. I am currently trying to read the 3 books I borrowed from a friend.. I am sure he would like to have them returned sometime in this lifetime.

All of them are dive books... Gotta read faster, but I have been diving alot lately so the reading has slowed down some.
