Absolutely. You rock, Kamala!

Plus W3, ZD, et al, of course.

I know from experience what TEDIOUS work a Web site can be. I founded our dive club's Web site and taught myself basic HTML programming in the process. And it wasn't even "live" like this one. WW has to deal with what is pretty much a general public, hence she sometimes runs into not-nice people, but yet she consistently maintains a big Texas "HOWDY" attitude through it all! The result is a board that is popular, fun, interesting, and useful, with a cozy, family-like atmosphere. That is RARE for an online community!

We sometimes forget to say "thanks" because it seems like such a small gesture that will go unnoticed. So, from the bottom of my heart, three cheers :lmao: and a big fat THANK YOU, WW!
(Yes, I know there are others involved, and they deserve credit also, but I admit I have a soft spot for southern belles from Texas. And no, I'm not the "anonymous one", that's still a mystery).

WOW!!! I couldn't have asked for a better description of SD...and I hope we continue to live up the task to keep it this way!!!

As for help...yes a site like this would not be possible without the help of MANY MANY contributors from the member that pays their premier dues to help support the site...to the mods and admins behind the scenes that do lots of work maintaining the site and keeping our community fun...to the special groups of members who have offered love, leadership, labor and talents (ran out of 'l' words LOL!!) such as our Angels and Happy Hour Planners and a very special group...our Charter Members who have offered financial support as well as talents in so many areas to help SD grow!

So no...its not a one woman show...except for a few parts and those usually entail the stuff no one wants...but should we not succeed...it would be my fault and I couldn't bear that. This is truly a labor of love for me...and it brings me so much joy to see people have a great time on a dive trip...or improve their diving skills...or have the best trip they've ever been on because they were with other single and buddyless divers...or meet friends that they will stay in touch long after the trip or even occasionally that 'special' person...and the list goes on and on!

Greg...you are a wonderful addition to our family and I thank you from the bottom of my heart...and yes...today...its good to be a "southern belles from Texas"!!!

...one of the wonderful reasons that I adore women... they actually LIKE to share their thoughts and feelings... a quality that many of my Neanderthal brethren have not perfected (present SD.com gang excepted of course).

Uh, speaking for myself, there are some types of Neanderthal thoughts and feelings that are best left unshared, particularly with the women folk. Tends to frighten them a wee bit...

- where is that French quote from? It sounds so familiar... I was a French major in college and read a lot of books...

TexasStarfish: I "borrowed" the quote from Friedrich Nietzsche's Beyond Good and Evil. I don't know where he "borrowed" it from. Hope that helps.

Hmmm.....
I could never send flowers secretly, some other joker would take credit for it. Then there you go, you loose out on a fabulous woman and a chance to take her out on a date and $100.00 worth of flowers. Just doesn't make sense to send them anonymously.

I agree DMP. Or atleast an idea of who you are.
I got a surprise arrangement of 12 of the most beutiful multi-colored roses I have ever seen at work last week. The card was signed and had a beautiful sentiment.

It is those times when they mean the most.

Kamala, did you ever find out who your flowers were from? Or any new clues?
