But rather to skid in broadside, thoroughly used up, totally worn out, and loudly proclaiming--"WOW--What a ride!"

I was with my son(19) for his first dive in January, and his eyes were as big as the mask lenses.

Congrats.I am very proud but a little nervous. I already told him I was hooking him up to a buddy line.
My daughter (19) just got her OW cert and our first dive together was tough on me. I wanted to attatch a line to her and hold her hand just to make sure she was safe.
I am happy to report that I did neither and she dove just fine without my added support. We just got back from Puerto Rico and she dove like an experienced diver. Even the guys in charge told me that they never would have known she was a new diver if I hadn't told them.
