You had girls in your engineering classes?

I knew all the hot women at my school (Embry-Riddle), they both had boyfriends though

NO KIDDING!!! Having graduated from THE TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY.....I think we had like one female in my entire civil engineering class......it was hard to focus if you were actually in class with her..... :cool1:

However, certainly better than back in the day when there were NO women on campus at all....guess that is why they say you can always tell when you are near A&M....'cause if you stop your car....the sheep start backin' up to the fence!

For my self, have a women in my life as a friend or lover is always a good thing, in fact most of the females I have dated in the past are my friends today. This is good when a relationship ends and another women comes into my life, if she is "OK" with the females that are my friends respectively than I know she will be a good women, not a jealous one, and OK with Jay being on SINGLE DIVERS, because SEX is not what it's about friendship is and hay no one can have to many.

I should add a proviso with my post.... it's pretty hard to meet ppl from SD when you're the only one in the country, possibly hemisphere.....
Sounds like we need to do some recruiting in distant lands. Oh what fun that could be!

Or...you could always come visit us here. There's only one of you, and LOTS of us!

I say keep looking. Never give up... for each good meeting expect 5-10 bad ones and just have fun! I didn't meet my heart-throb here, but it was online. I think this adds to the possibility cuz you already have something in common. But our purpose here is to meet good friends and if something forms--GREAT! I just joined here and am serving as a liason for a friend...(okay, my mom-but she's young, cute and spunky). I hope we get to join you all on a dive soon- that's our goal- but if she happened to meet a great texas diver in the process I'll find another dive buddy.

But I second the suggestion to visit Austrailia!!!

Well we did let the cat out the bag a few weeks ago on another thread but...

Starfish Sandy and I met on the SD trip to Cozumel last January. After 8 months of flying back and forth between NY and Dallas we're now domestically together. And after one month the only hissing has been the cat at the dog.
