dr. b, remember that it works both ways. if my guy hit hard times, i'd be more than willing to offer assistance until things got better for him. and any guy that i choose will probably as generous in spirit.

Sorry....I dont like cats. But dont get me wrong on the spelling.......Here's my list. My guy has to be:
strong enough to push a lawn mower
sweet enough to wash dishes
mechanically inclined to fix a car
great with his hands to give back rubs
financially able to pay bills (mine and his)
Willing and Able to make love to me until the day Bin Laden gets a Nobel Peace prize
But most of all he has to like cats.

When some suggest treating their woman like a queen, it is my feeling that we did away with the concept of royalty here centuries ago. I would not treat my partner as a queen, nor would I expect her to treat me as a king. I would expect both of us to treat one another as loving partners in a relationship. Of course that involves special things done by each for the other... but definitely no thrones or pedestals.

I'd better not mention anything else I've been told I'm good at!!! Oh, and crocheting isn't one of them.

HA! Very funny, 'maus!Doc, I think she was saying kissing partners may not be willing to say, "Stop sucking my face like grouper, you toad!" or some slightly less tactful version of "the truth." Sorta like faking the big O, y'know. Lovers want to make each other happy, so sometimes they aren't terribly honest about unpleasant subjects (like, you missed a spot).
Reminds me of that old joke: "know why women fake O's? 'Cause they think we care."
