I had to start this thread after posting on the boo-hoo, broken-heart music one.

I find that certain tempos and styles of music catch my attention and help put me in "the mood". I have an entire collection of old records that I still feel the need to drag out from time to time. Here's an example:

Feelin' Love
Paula Cole
Love, love
You make me feel like a sticky pistil
leaning into a stamen
You make me feel like a mister sunshine
Himself
You make me feel like splendor in the grass
While we're rollin'
Damn skippy baby
You make me feel like the amazon's runnin' between
my thighs
CHORUS:
You make me feel love, love, love, love, love
love, love, love, love, love
You make me feel love, love, love, love, love
love, love, love, love
You make me feel like a candy apple
Red and horny
You make me feel like I wanna be a dumb blonde
In a centerfold, the girl next door
And I would open the door and
I'd be all wet
With my tits soaking through this tiny felt t-shirt
That I'm wearing
And you would open the door and tie
Me up to the bed
Chorus
Lover, but I don't know who I am
Am I (?)
Am I hot inside
What would I place with your hot conscious
Oh baby babe babe babe
I will be your death, the moonlight
Take your time
You make me feel (3 times)
You make me feel loved

What music does it for you? :dancing:

Enigma, Enya and some R&B.

Just hearing Enigma brings back all sorts of memories and well, game over at that point( mind slides off into, well you know)

Women are what turn me on, not music!

Seriously, most of the romantic music I like, I like because I associate it with a former GF and the great times we had together. For that reason I usually don't play any of it if I'm with a new woman since it would almost be like fantasizing! And there are two "new" women possibilities that emerged last weekend. And of course the "love of my life," dive buddy Andrea, brought home her new love from her trip to the Caymans last month! Spring is in the air... we'll see what music plays this time.

Well, off the top of my head...

Almost anything by Marvin Gaye -- Sexual Healing, Let's Get It On...

Anything by Prince -- Erotic City, Pink Cashmere, Little Red Corvette...

As mentioned in an earlier thread, Pink Floyd does it for me.

We are, and I know the music is nothing about sex, but their sound does it for me. David Gilmour's voice in particular.

No, we're not! I'm referring to the whale's "pink floyd" (being the underwater pornographer that I am!). Of course some species do make music, too. Would be interesting to try making love to it. Hmmm. I'll have to try it next time (if there is a next time!).
