I met you folks at Beneath The Sea 2005. In two weeks, I'll be returning to the scene of the crime. See you there, again.

I go back to the infamous "singles forum" wars on another board......the banning....the carnage....it was fun!!

I think it was another scuba forum. The name escapes me now....

I was looking at the schedule for the Sea Searcher II and thought who are these people who got a three days week-end during peak diving season and it wasn't even a holiday week-end? So I spend a month lurking this time last year and got a couple of e-mails from a couple of Angels to join in so I jumped in and signed up for a couple of trips and Kamala talked me into signing for more trips and now she can't seem to get rid of me.

And it's a good thing too, cause I'd sure miss you if you weren't around!

I originally found SD ust after I got my OW cert. Knowing I am a single diver (and the buddy system is encouraged by the major certifying agencies), I knew I would have to find a way to meet up with people so I registered. Life got busy for a while and eventually I found another SCUBA forum that had a singles area and was pointed back to SD by one of the threads.

Glad to help Nicole! What have you been up to?

Beneath the Sea 2005. I was working at the fair and during my break walked around and stumbled onto SD. I knew I was moving to Houston in a few months and was losing all my dive buddies. I knew it would be the perfect group to get me acclimated to diving in Texas :)

:thankyou: everyone!

Found it in one of the issues of Sportdiver.com. I just registered and this is my first post. This is a great forum to connect with new dive buddies.

:welcome: to Single Divers, Hexkraut! I found SD on Sportdiver.com too! I'm sure you'll connect with many new dive buddies on our board, especially if you post an introduction here. Enjoy SD! :D

Myself, it was at SeaSpace 2004 in Houston. I was walking around the place, found their booth, talked to the wench, then signed up as soon as I got home. It has been a fun two years that I have been a part of this! :hiya:
