Check has been sent via Priority Mail. Should arrive by Saturday.
I will be using O2 & He.
As far as food goes I need to keep dairy intake to a minimum and prefer not to eat anything deep fried.
How picky can we be about the food? I prefer brown rice to white and whole wheat for pasta and bread.

Need any more info?

My theory is that we can be as picky as we need to be (see my food needs) and he will work to the best of his ability to accommodate them. Will he accommodate them all? No but he'll get closer than he would without any input! Thanks!

I just filled the last seat. :P
The check is going in the mail today. I am hoping I can find a few other divers on the trip that want to watch the reef from dark to light one early morning. I want to splash with lights and surface to breakfast. Any one else want to join in on this dive. Maybe the last day with the early dive schedule.

Count me in on the dawn dive.

My flight arrives around 4:30 pm next Friday. Any advice on getting from the airport to the boat?

Thanks!

I'm planning to dive to the deck of the USS Oriskany CVA-34 in later half of July out of Penscola, FL. I'll try to take some good pictures...

I'm in for a night to dawn dive too....

I'll be arriving before you I think and I plan to rent a day room at the airport which is very close to the docks. We can use the day room to freshen up and hang out and have one of our famous HAPPY HOURS until we load the boat around 9 or 10pm. I will verify the time and let you know in the thread. I'm pretty sure that many of our members are diving so if we all hook up we can carpool together! There should be a free shuttle from the airport to the hotel!

Details coming soon....

Anyone else flying in???

Did anyone see the PBS program "Nature" tonight? The Episode "Dolphin Defender," with John Hardy, shows him swimming with Dolphins on the Bahama Banks.

Did anyone notice the boat he was diving from? Yep, it's the Ocean Explorer, the same boat we are using for our Live Aboard trip!

We depart in five days! :welcome:

I am sorry for the delay on the survey. I was diving the Cooper River this last week with,(no email)

I will be eating anything available but just a little red meat. I prefer fish and veggies at the main meals and fruit for breakfast and GRITS. Hot tea mornings and juice.
Is this a BYOBooz boat and if its included what is it? Wine, beer ect…
Counting the days :P

Is anyone bringing a laptop or Windows CE device on the trip? Even better: one with V-Planner installed?

Manny is bringing his laptop with V-Planner on it. However, if it dies, that would be the end of using that for our dive planning.

I have a really old laptop with a bad screen. Not sure I can even get it to work or if it will be able to install V-Planner. Having another reliable laptop aboard would sure enhance our redundant support.

Another choice would be to load V-Planner on a Windows CE device. However, I have never tried this version, and I do not own a CE device.

Any experienced V-Planner users going on this trip? Anyone with bringing a loptop or Windows CE device? Anyone bringing one without V-Planner that wouldn't mind installing it for the trip?

I'll be bringing my laptop, I just don't know what a V planner is. I assume either some sort of dive planner or a capacino machine. (Hoping for the cap machine, that would rule! :usflag: )

Please download and then PM me the Key Codes from the registration. I can then get that copy registered for use on the trip.

You will find out a lot of interesting information about this software and its decompression theory when we are on the trip. It's really :diver:

First, download: http://www.hhssoftwa...r/download.html. Then, get the code and PM it to me: http://www.hhssoftwa...r/instcode.html. I will PM you the unlock code. Once it is working, just let me know. That's all there is to it.

I haven't trie the CE version. Let's test it out on this trip.

Please download and then PM me the Key Codes from the registration. I can then get that copy registered for use on the trip.

First, download: http://www.hhssoftwa...r/download.html. Then, get the code and PM it to me: http://www.hhssoftwa...r/instcode.html. I will PM you the unlock code. Once it is working, just let me know. That's all there is to it.

We can set the configuration on all of the copies so that they are the same, and then we can see if all of them get the same results when we run them on actual dives.

Who is planning on using Helium, and in what mixes? The boat is picking up gas based upon our estimation. So, please give this some thought, and try to get back about it ASAP, meaning: NOW!

Departure day is almost here. :usflag:
