Love that cold water.. embrace it. It takes a special diver to love the cold water.
or as DG has clearly stated... Someone who has been dropped on their heads when they were little.
I know for a fact I was dropped more than once.

Well you were dropped twice - once on each side to try and poke the horns back in...I know for a fact I was dropped more than once.

I think I have more dives in other countries than in the US. Now that I have lost my passport (twice) , I think I'll stick closer to home for a while.

OW, Calypso diving, Boracay Phillipines, instructor was Hitomi
AOW, Calypso diving, Boracay Phillipines, instructor was Hitomi
NITROX, Calypso diving, Boracay Phillipines, instructor again Hitomi
Absolutly yes on taking courses overseas again easpecially from Hitomi
Hitomi is Japanese and very serious about her diving she was an awesome instructor. Her english though she felt was not good, was very understandable and even some Americans can have problems saying oxygen toxicity. I am sure I couldnt say it in Japanese
Calypso diving has three instructors:
Lee who is from England
Hitomi who is from Japan
Christian who is from Switzerland
and their DM Borek who is filipino who they also want to go to instructor school, They are very professional and know what their doing.
