Thank you all for timeframes you CAN'T go or times when you prefer to go! While I can't promise we'll be able to match all of the parameters...having them makes the choice easier!

Hey gang...its official we have our Maldives dates LOCKED IN!! The date has slipped a bit BUT the NEW DATE is superb!!!

We'll be traveling to the lushious Maldives in Feb 2013...specifically:

Destination: Central & Southern A Itinerary Male - Kaadedhdhoo
Trip Dates: 20th February - 2nd March 2013
Cruise Cost: 2,800 Euro/pax

Let me know if people will want to add another trip onto this one? Keep in mind this trip will be 10 nights so longer already.

Time is on our side but we'll need to plan any add-on's sooner vs later.

hmm this is a interesting trip and Maldives is on the bucket list.

Now getting there is going to be a adventure unto its self. Anyone up for a nearly Around the world trip? Total flying distance is 14K+ miles to get to male; the routing would be DFW-(Dallas)-MCO(Orlando)-LGW(London)-MLE(Male)and back. It would be two days of travel as theres a 14 hour layover in london and both long haul flights are overnight.

Hey the fun is the journey not necessarily the destination. will have to see how things are 330 days out before i can make the call one way or the other.

Fortunately I had the great assistance of most of the Truk group to help refine these dates AND itinerary! It is by far the best routing and of course Feb is fantastic AND its the last part of the month which makes it nearly perfect for a number of our members with first of the month travel restrictions due to reserve duty, end of month financial responsibilities etc.

AND many of them can join us for this date so we should be able to fill the boat without too much financial risk!

Stay tuned...more coming as we look further into the future and start long term planning for our group! kamala

Both of those are AWESOME add-on's! Yap is also a possibility as well. The staff at Fish N Fins is so diverse and has so much diving knowledge that I'm getting GREAT ideas for not only 1 possible add-on trip but perhaps 2 of them. Kamala

I am open to ADD-ONs. I am cruising/diving Tahiti, Rangiroa and Marquesas starting on April/06/2013 - so I have the whole March to make it East to Papeete... What is on the way?
