CLICK HERE for all the pics of this fun and wonderful trip! :lmao:

Guess I'll start this thread since nobody else has.

Good Diving, but it's been chilly! Today is Sunny and Warm. On my last dive we ran across a 10-12 foot HammerHead!!!!

Somebody got lasso'd and somebody has a new nickname but who am I to give specifics.

Hey gang...the diving has been AWESOME! But its been windy which has made it chilly as Brad said! But its been great diving regardless.

We've done Turneffe, Blue Hole and surrounding area dives. We are heading north tomorrow since the wind gods are with us! :lmao:

We've seen turtles, sharks, HUGE groupers and just about everything else in between! And we've even been near a large number of sting rays and SPOTTED EAGLE RAYS!!!

We hope the few folks taking pictures will be able to share after the trip. And we recruited a new member who dove with us at Turneffe, Blue Hole and one day at Tides with us! He will be sharing his video with us as well as be a new member! :D

More later... ;)

We are at the Belize International Airport having one last Belikin and waiting for our flight to Dallas. Sadly Scott aka Cmdr.Clownfish will not be able to join us at the HH awaiting me in Dallas :teeth: as he is not feeling well so does not want to spread anything!

However I am looking forward to the Dallas Happy Hour done in my honor and my return to Texas on my way home to SC.

The weather is ABSOLUTELY FANTASTIC which sadly Belize was impacted by the massive cold snap that EVERYONE was impacted by. However each day got warmer and therefore better!

All in all it was a wonderful week! Wish you all were here...you missed a GOOD ONE!!! kamala

I'm in Houston waiting for the last leg to Minneapolis. it's in the 30s so nice weather to return to (seriously).

The weather in Belize was a tad cool but what a fun group. Awesome trip. Thanks everyone!! Pictures to come.

Patojo's was wonderful - they bent over backwards for us with diving and providing breakfast and lunch at a very reasonable price.

Here's a couple photos to get things going. Do we have a gallery for pics yet?

yes Patojo's was awesome. They not only set up our gear but they brought it to us and put us in it... including fins. Then they helped us into the water. When in the water they made sure we did not go past the bottom unless we wanted to in which case we were informed that they would be happy to go back and get a shovel... true story, didn't make that up. When it was time get back on the boat THEY took our gear off of us in the water and handed it back up. They also fed us quite well. Very good operation, I would give them 5 fins but I only have 2.

Excellent description CmdO. Clownfish. :cool1:

You know - you might think what happens in Belize stays in Belize... but it's so much more fun teasing you on the site. ;)

Let's see... Scott's new unofficial screen name (which he answers to) is Commando Clownfish.

Jessica aka Coral has her doctorate. Dr. Coral to us. ;)

And dive_sail_etc Brad - actually blushes.

Brad - PilotDiverBrad - has a long list of Aggie jokes.

This was a really fun group of people - so much good-natured teasing. :cool1:

I guess I should finish this now that I'm home. A special thank you to Kamala. I chose to do rent a buddy at the last minute. The help and advice you gave was great. And you even got me to do your underwater dance. I look forward to going on another trip.

As I recall you seemed awfully excited at what you dubbed a new screen name for me. Now perhaps Dr. Coral could venture a reason why. It should be known that Lynn showed this weird personality trait throughout this trip where she kept trying to convince people that her dog could compose email. We never could figure this out but she never would give up on it. It was kind of cute in a way but so sad at the same time. Watching her answering email from her dog day after day was quite fun though.

What can I say, it was a fun group.

My dog doesn't answer email, just tries to take over the computer keyboard when she thinks I've been on the computer too long. :cool1:
