For those that are planning on attending the Athens event:
In order to help us plan (take over docks 1&2 for the party), please post if you are planning on camping or staying in a hotel? Remember that the Hot Tub at the dive park will be much more lively than at the hotel during the evening........ :teeth:

Mike
campsite 1 and 2 are they the ones right behind the dive shop on the east side ? anyway I'll be camping again. I'm trying to find a 12v fan to put in my tent. Gar kept the air moving lastime ( No further Info available on that subject) so it sounds like Fun ! just like lastime.

I wonder if anyone makes a tent air conditioner!

I'm thinking I might have a hard time sleeping with the low temp 80 or higher

MIke - do they have electricity anywhere other than the RV pads?

Docks / campsites 1 & 2 are just behind the dive shop next to the band stage and close to the pool area. I know of an electrical outlet out at the band stage. But otherwise there is no electrical outlet on the campsite.

I don't think I need to know any more about Gar moving air in the tent.........

Kim

I know that there are small A/C units that can be used for tent camping if you have a electrical connection. I've seen these in Ausitn during my last motorcycle rally. Since there is no effective electrical connection it would be tough to make an A/C unit work......
