I wish I could be there with you guys for the 2nd trip to Athens!! Though I will be there for the 3rd. I already have it marked in my calendar!!! You guys have a great time, try to get Divecutie, ScubaHoney, and Chie to do the simulated cave, the tunnel!! I'll miss yall, have a great time!!!

sometimes i gotta be a little polite. it's in my blood, can't get it out. i'm actually heading out for a family vacation so i won't be able to make the later happy hour. but i'll get back almost in time for the 2nd athens gathering.

I'm going to be sponsoring a few contests at Athens and I need some Idea's on what kinda one's to have. any SD.com member going to Athens or Not can add there Idea's on this thread.

1. Putting an object about the size of a coke can between the cabin cruiser and the airplane in a straight line of course. now the one who gets to it first in the time frame aloud wins $50.00 Bucks. who goes first will be randomly selected thru drawing numbers out of a hat.

( note ) compass's can be used. the whole idea is to test people's navigation skills

2. WW suggested a scavanger hunt for another $50.00

Ok I'm game....how about a recruiting prize???? Who can bring the most people with them to the event....or who can get the most people's emails and contact info at the park to sign up and join us? Well maybe you can't award the winner until you see who all signs up for SD for say the first week after the event.

How about if someone gets a 12" square paving stone, paints a picture of the SD fish on it (not me I'm artisticly challenged). Flip it over and hit it with a hammer from the backside to break it into pieces and see who can find it, assemble the puzzle, and return to a given point the fastest.
