FIJI? Absolutely! Anytime after March'ish is better for me for the longer trips (a week or more) -- more time to accrue vacation and spread out some of these trips! The extended weekend trips I can do almost any month, as long as I don't already have one planned! :P Can't wait for the 2006 schedule! Thanks, Kamala! :wakawaka:

I'd like to nominate Islamorada, in the FL Keys. I'll even volunteer to help with coordinating a trip there.

:welcome: Fiji or Palau......Lets see...

In the Fall you will have cool waters in Fiji, you will see beautiful corals (from what i understand colors like the Red Sea). Nice schools of tropical fish and a couple of excellent dives with Mantas and you will see some White Tip Sharks.

OR

You Dive outside the Rock Islands of Palau, Sharks in your face, Grey Reef and White Tip. You will see everything from Sea hares, Nubranches, Sharks, Schools (at times 100 or more) of Black Snapper, Bumphead Parriot fish, Travalles, Barracuda, Wrasses etc. etc.....diving at one of the finest dive spots in the World called the Blue Corner, Ripping currents on some dives, Incredible walls, Blue Holes, Beautiful soft corals, Canyons.......and the water Temp about 82.....well I could go on and on.....But in the Fall it is the Rainy season, March, April and May are the best months.

Kamala was that a Rhetorical question? LOL

If you are gonna go to Micronesia to dive wrecks go to Truk(Chuuk).

Palau may have a few wrecks but Truk Lagoon rules when it comes to wrecks!!! Not to mention it's a lagoon and easier diving then in Palau. Although truth be told I'd rather dive the Blue Corner(and a few other sites) in Palau then any wreck in Truk. But I have to also add that I've talked to many divers and anybody who has ever dived PNG always has it at or near the top of their list as the best place in the world. I've talked to some very, very, very well traveled divers. The place to go is PNG. Sooner or later you are gonna want to see PNG. Lets make it sooner. 6/6/6
