Hey this may help you on Visa's to the philippines..

Foreigners are generally allowed entry into the country without visas for a stay of twenty-one (21) days or less for tourism and business purposes. (U.S. Passport holders may enter the Philippines without visas for a stay of twenty-one (21) days or less for tourism and business purposes.) Round trip or onward airline ticket must be presented together with the passport at the port of entry. Balikbayans can stay beyond twenty-one (21) days. Children under 15 years old traveling unaccompanied and not coming to a parent are governed by special regulations, see below.

Visas are required for aliens entering the Philippines temporarily or for a more or less definite duration, who are admissible by virtue of the Immigration Act or special laws. Stay should not exceed fifty-nine days for tourism and business purposes.

To speed-up the processing time remember to: a) fill-out application form completely, b) submit all original documents, and c) photocopy all necessary documents, prior to going to the Consulate General. Click the type of service/information you require:

Payment Update:

1. Liz aka Liz got your payment! :cheerleader:
2. Wayne aka WaterWorks got your dep and 1st! :thankyou:

Important Notes:

a. PLEASE put your screen name, trip name and payment advice i.e. nitrox etc on your checks and docs!
b. PLEASE do not send your checks via certified mail. If I am not in the office to receive them when the mail man arrives it will take a minimum of 3 days before the check is available at the post office. If you need confirmation that I have received your checks beyond posting in the thread, please enclose a note and I'll call or email you.
c. PLEASE do not combine trip payments or deposits for different trips on one check if at all possible. It is ok to combine payments for the same trip but please tell us you are doing that i.e. 3rd pymt & nitrox enclosed.
d. When sending your waiver, please fax or mail. When sending your survey please copy into a document to fill out and then email. This allows you to save a tree and the form is 3/4's filled out the next time you travel with us!
e. MEDICAL HISTORY SEALED ENVELOPE...please bring these with you on your trip and hand to us. Please do not risk mailing them to us. Note: On the medical waiver it asks that you bring a sealed envelope with your medical history, meds and info for a doctor in the event you can not speak for yourself. This will not be opened unless of emergency and will be returned to you when you leave the trip. It is a good idea to put a copy of your passport in this envelope as well. Please put your real name and screen name on the outside.

Thank you all for your help with these reminders! :taz:

Just joined the board today. I'm seriously interested in this trip! Anyone know which airline the flight from LA-->Manila is on? I'm thinking about a combo trip that might include a stop in Palau while I'm "in the neighborhood." Wouldn't that make for an epic dive adventure? As far as I know, Continental is the only option for Palau.

Thanks for any info &/or suggestions.
