I will tell you like I've told Bahamasita and ALL women on this site...please forward to me or the SD mods/admins ANY odd, weird, stalking, annoying or creepy pm's, emails (although unless you post your email addy in your profile since they are not allowed in your signatures for safety reasons NO ONE but admins, mods, Charter Members, Angels, & Happy Hour Planners can email you via this site. And yes ALL of these groups are part of our trusted circles on SD and as such any email containing the concerns that any of you have expressed so far would be a gross violation of their email priviledges and grounds for immediate removal from the site.)

WW, It was not a big deal to me, and still is not. I do not even know the guy's screen name. My point was simply that while there are a few creepy guys out there, most of the men I have chatted with or read their posts have only the purest of intentions. I am glad I did not let that first weirdo that tried to chat me up scare me away. I hope that other women will do the same and report them!

l agree with CJ too...100%. l know 2 of the women pictured don't frequent the site any longer, so how could they possibly protest the use of thier photos? lt would be my opinion that photos aren't posted for any reason other than to *put a face with the words*, not to call attention to ones self. As a guy, l'm not looking to be ogled by strangers, or being asked to post new photos so that l can be *admired* by women l don't know. l was somewhat annoyed that l was asked to do this by the founder of this site. l think that at the least, there should be some control as to third party download capability of avatars to ensure that they remain in complete control and possesion of SD. As Shamu alluded to, if a meat market mentality is where this is heading, l believe it is to the detriment of SD as a whole. Take it for what it's worth, just this guys opinion.

Kevin I did tease you to post a new avatar...I am sorry to have offended you. Please accept my apology as I hope you would know that I would never have wanted to offend you or anyone else for that matter. I will note that this is the first I've heard that I offended you in any shape manner or form. I would have retracted my post had you let me know directly. Or if you did not feel comfortable doing that you could have used our new forum for concerns which is what it is for. (Please note that all the mods and admins see it so that the concern can be dealt with properly.)

Please let us know directly when we've done something you find offensive. OR let the admins and mods know.

We can not help you nor can we recognize we had done anything wrong unless you let us know.

And the board is not the appropriate forum for it unless you've attempted to deal directly and it has not worked and then you escaled it to the mods/admins and that did not work.

Thank you all for your help in creating a more positive and direct way to handle our concerns and issues.

In the end...we all grow and learn via communications. The more direct and to the person involved the better.
