How about if we peel off our drysuits to reveal a dashing drysuit. Complete with fresh-cut flower for our lapel?
Of course, we don't get those nice cutaways agent 007 does...
How about forgetting the skin, flowers can be optional

Does that mean you're coming out to the right coast(as opposed to the left one) next year?Hey, I'm worth billlions (at least for charity), but no woman is foolish enough to bid that much for me!

Yeah, that's the reason why...Hey, I'm worth billlions (at least for charity), but no woman is foolish enough to bid that much for me!

Cool! Ya got an opening bid from me!
Hey now wait a second! I think we need to restrict bidding to SINGLE women!
(Not that I don't like you, but ummm, not sure this vacation trip is suited to a married woman traveling alone )

I might have a shot at this. If I can lose 50# by next spring, I've got a vacation to offer that most people would LOVE!
Well, I can't offer the vacation, but, if I can lose 50 by next year (and get back into my tux) I'll be there, too.

Ok, starting the thread here...
The deal...
at the BTS show in 2008, we will host a Bachelor & Bachelorette Charity Auction.
All proceeds will go to stopping the senseless shark killings (or along those lines.)
Being a part of a BA before, I'll start it off with some suggestions...
First, we ONLY do Bachelors. I've seen co-ed events and they never end well.
There needs to be FREE (or cheap) booze. We need to find an organization to donate it. The bids go up in proportion with the eaze of access to booze. More booze = more money and a funner event.
The Bachelors will pay for the entire "date." They will come up with a date package that they offer. The women bid on the man AND the date. The fact that the Bachelor pays for the date is their "admission" to the event.
This needs to happen on Sat night of the event. There is no other time that we will get as good a crowd. But we will be in compedition with other functions.
Maybe instead of tuxs, we all dress up in wetsuits? (Maybe we can get some vendors to provide us with ones for the event?)
WW will know better, but being a non-profit, I believe their bids may be tax deductable if we "massage" the paperwork a little.
So, lets get thinking! Only 51 weeks left!
