Can Bug get added to the definitely going list, lower cabin?

I have a ticket on hold - SFO to GGT is almost as much as the tirp I'd arrive Friday afternoon.

I just priced your ticket at $787 - which is less than I price mine. But Monday afternoon is a poor time to shop for a ticket. Probly cheaper for Wednesday morning shopping.

I'll send enough for a deposit this week. I'm coming in on Friday, leaving Saturday afternoon. I'd like a lower cabin, D/O please. Will likely dive Nitrox, but I'll let you know for sure.

Just want to make sure I am not crazy .. but at the time I am posting this there still isn't the full information up on this trip right?

I am kind of spoiled reading the other trip set ups and this one still seems incomplete, but I see people buying in and sending deposits.

Well, as previously stated, I am definitely in on this trip and will work at getting some cash to Kamala as a deposit by months end.

One thing I would like to do is ring in the New Year at depth. Anyone care to join me for a midnight night dive?

Hi Squid,

You're correct. No full post yet. I just had the chance at some pretty good airfare ($331) and since I've been on their vessels before, I kinda know the drill. Now that I've got my flight, I just wanted to be sure to secure a spot.

I'm sure something will be posted as soon as Kamala can catch her breath.

Being new it would certainly seem wierd that people would sign up for a trip that does not have full details posted...

However I would not allow people to book flights if there was any reason it may not happen or if the trip could not happen. The only delay in getting info out is my mom's unexpected hospitalization last week while I was in Grenada. I worked on the trip last night until I collasped and will sanity check my work and should have it finalized this morning.

In the meantime...here is the final pricing so everyone knows:

Pricing:

The pricing will be $1095 for the lower deck (shared showers but private sink and toilet) and $1395 for the upper deck (private shower and sink and toilet). With special SD discounts you can get it for almost $995 lower deck....

Flights:

Please fly into GGT the day before if at all possible but avoid looking for airfares on Monday's...they go up since everyone gets back to work and decides to start checking flights. The best times to look are when most people are offline oir mid-morning weekdays. (Dandy Don is a master at finding great fares and he always swears by this tip!)

I am certainly "new" -- but I wasn't rushing you -- I just wanted make sure I wasn't missing anything. I was noticing a trend in postings to include "I am sending my deposit" and felt left behind.

I've been checking prices the last couple weeks - different times - usually got about the same answer - I was avoiding certain airports that I didn't think were good choices in the winter, so SFO to MIA to GGT priced more expensive. It's worth it to exit one year diving and enter the new year diving

Yeah, I wouldn't want to use Denver or Kansas City, you're right!!

My search is still showing $787, Continental: changing in Houston and Ft.Lauderdale - same airports as me, but I pay more from Lubbock. Still, you're the one who has to fly the planes, so I'm not going to argue if you like another approach better. Just offering suggestions, since you mentioned prices...
