No, we met and talked to him at BTS, but he seemed extremely strict with bottom times and such, so we did a shore dive with a guide named Bas. We saw his boat go out, we dove near there. We went to the nudist beach but there was nobody there that we saw :)

Do to "other" plans next year-I likely have one opportunity to get on a trip. For me, I prefer to go someplace I have not yet been (which are too damn numerous to list). In any event, I have looked at Utila and Costa Rica since Dominica has luggage weight issues. But there is also that hold out for a liveaboard to keep me in good standing with the dive your @$$ of club!!! :D

Sorry to hijack this thread, but I have been looking at Costa Rica as well, but ran into the same weight issues on the flights leaving San Jose. Have you figured out a way to travel to the coast and avoid that problem?

Thought...

Resorts in countries with weight issues will be more likely to be creative on price! SO....if you can travel light...15# carry on (most don't weigh this so you can usually do more) and 70# total (usually 2 bags at 35# each) then we can get some great deals!

And many resorts will offer either free rental gear to help you 'offload' some weight!!!

Where have the SD sponsored Singles weeks been prior to 2007 in Grenada?

Where have the SD sponsored Singles weeks been prior to 2007 in Grenada?

They went to Fantasy Island last year! I believe this was only the second one. OTH, as it was pinted out, all SD trips are at least mostly single events. I believe the only difference was in some activities and resort participation etc. The Commish or Fingrabber could elaborate more.
