:cheerleader: Well after 27 years in the Army my retirement was effective on 1 September, I am now a civilian again!!!! Quite the wild ride if I may say so myself!

Thanks for your service. There are many here that appreciate your years of sacrifice.

It just keeps getting better. My only down point since sliding over the side was 9/11/01 when I fervently wished to be on the pointy end again.
No aquarium, no tank in a marine land, however spacious it may be, can begin to duplicate the conditions of the sea. And no dolphin who inhabits one of those aquariums or one of those marine lands can be considered normal.

Thanks gang! I wish I got to go diving more but alas I am here in Kabul now going on my 3rd month of an 18 month contract as an advisor to the Ministry of Defense.
So I get to go diving every 90 days. I get a 5 day weekend every 90 days and I am teaching out of a dive shop in Dubai. I have my first OW class there this month, planning classes for JAN and April!

thanks guys and gals, it was alot of fun! I should be back in Texas no later than Decemeber of 2008 not sure if I will end up in Austin or Dallas but where it is I will be teaching diving fulltime and look forward to finally meeting some of you in real life!
