Just curious, why is this the last time?
SingleDivers.com and its predecessor Red Wet and Blue have been diving the Graveyard of the Atlantic on average 2-4 times a year for the past 13 years.
Sadly the day has come when people have said...'been there dove that' or they say "I really want to do NC but I also want to do ______ trip which she is only offering once. I'll do NC next year since she offers that every year." After awhile it gets harder and harder to fill the trips and in the last couple of years we had too many unfilled spots. When I book the boat I also book the limited number of hotel spots available too. And our group fills both the hotel and the boat. We have to pay for the spots regardless and the trip has always been a labor of love...meaning barely a break even proposition for a lot of work and even more risk. Since the demand is no longer there...this is our farewell trip to my favorite dive destination in the world.

Preparing my final payment - this is what I'm sending - Bill may have to let me know what else I'll be paying for on the doubles set up, plus a stage bottle. I'll be happy to pay ahead, or when we get there. I had to generate the check today so it will be there by June 3rd.

Hi All and HI Wench!
First, I'm REAL sorry I can't make July. I have 6 kids that have been counting on me for the last year, every week they ask "Uncle Andy, we're still going camping on July 4th, RIGHT?" No way I'm disapointing them.
Folks, if you are reading this thread keep in mind that the diving community is suffering a GREAT loss by SD no longer doing NC. I've done NC trips for years, used to captain my own boat and certified hundreds of divers. In all that time, I've NEVER seen a better organized or run trip than this one. WW runs a TOP notch outfit and even if you are new to diving, she WILL take care of you. This trip is one of the few times you can be "shown the ropes" for this type of diving. I was even planning on trying to bring my 16 y/o niece for the fall trip, simply because I was so comfortable with the group.
I have a feeling that in about 2 years, demand for NC will be back. So will I...

D/O, Yes to Nitrox - 100, I'll need 12 lbs of lead, flying in (then road trip to Key West).
