Totally understand. Getting caught up is the hardest part but we are working on it. All should be done in next week.

While doing some Google searches on the Nekton Pilot I came across this series of videos the crew created while the Pilot was in the shipyard at Port St Joe, Florida being refurbished in early 2008. I really enjoyed seeing how the boat was transformed during these chronicles. Enjoy!

I'm new to diving and new to SD. Just got back from Cozumel diving with a group that was older, well established, and not very friendly. So, I decided to give you all a try. I have only logged a dozen dives, but did get Nitrox certified last week on the trip. Would really like to go on the St. Croix trip and am particularly interested in hiring a divemaster/buddy to help me with my skills. Your group sounds awesome and I can't wait to dive again. BTW, the reefs/walls were amazing in Cozumel! Ellen

!!! You will have no trouble finding friendly people here. I hope you can join us on the St Croix trip. The "Rent A Buddy" program is something I highly recommended after doing so on my first SD trip.

Ellen, you just made a great decision! Diving with SD members is about the most fun I've ever had diving. They're lots of fun, but they're also safe divers. Our ages are widespread, but I think we're all young at heart, and that counts for a lot :thankyou:

You can definitely learn a lot in one week with the divemaster buddy! You will be soooo confident when you get back from that trip. If you need help getting signed up and getting all the docs done, you can either PM me or send an Email to angels@singledivers.com and one of us will help you through it. Enjoy the trip!

Hope you make the trip Ellen, I did my first trip this summer with SD...and was glad I did. I'd been out of the water for 12 years before that with only a Curacao trip between staying dry and jumping in the Dry Tortugas trip, and am happy I took a chance on this group. I had a great time with great people and enjoyed it in spite of some initial nerves. You will not regret it.
