Could someone tell me where exactly the dock is in Mayaguez? I'll driving in from Aquadilla. Is there a landmark or directions?

I will have an answer for you shortly if one of the members doesn't already know who are traveling there themselves.

Follow the below link to the position reports on the Nekton website. Select Nekton Rorqual and then plot for Saturday, November 28th. That's where I'm expecting the boat to be...hopefully! :thankyou:

Nekton Rorqual - Position Reports

And in case anyone is interested, I found a Mona trip report posted online just a day or two ago describing last week's voyage...

Not sure if I missed it somewhere else... but what are the school supplies most needed? All we need to do is bring them right? :-)

Anything that is heavy is always good as it is more expensive to ship and therefore more expensive on the island. But basically anything works. Try to stay away from Hanna Montana and gender related items. They just cause problems when one kids gets a fancy one and one gets a plain one. The more basic the better!

Thank you! kamala

Paper notebooks, pens, pencils, glue (make sure you pack this in your checked bags...it is a liquid)

But other supplies work well too..,..erasers, pencil sharpeners, rulers, even dollar store eye glasses in small sizes.

WW you guessed wrong. Though if anyone is wanting adult beverages or sodas on the boat you better post the request soon as my plans are shifting and I will need to make a run probably tomorrow for supplies.

WW check your voicemail I have a question for you.

Are there any shops within meandering distance of the van pickup point? Given my expected time to kill I could make a grocery run as well.

There is a walgreens in the area, so we can probably get junk food/soda while we wait.

I'm not sure what time I'm driving down from the Aquadilla area. Probably take my folks to the Sam's Club in Mayaguez before heading down. What are your plans?
