Woke up to find big delay in getting to Charlotte for flight to JFK because of electrical storm.
Changed to US Air 3868 at 9:45 RDU to Washington National and then US Air Shuttle 2170 to Laguardia at 12 noon. So I should get to Laguardia at 1 pm and then take bus to JFK.
US Air had no flights available from Charlotte with delay and connection to get me to JFK on time. Good luck on your flights.

So far so good. Made it to JFK this morning. Will try to catch some sleep in the lounge, then will look for the group after a shower.... Now that I can breathe, I can start getting excited
. See everyone soon...great to be renewing old friendships and looking forward to new..

First day in the museum, mosque and a quick lookie-see at the marketplace! WOW!!! Our hotel is quite lovely with wonderful food nearby as well as friendly and helpful! The only trick has been getting internet but it works great once you can get your account set up.
Tomorrow we do the PYRAMIDS!!!

Well its our last night in Cairo and we head home tomorrow. Its about 1:15am and the hotel still has a live band playing! (Well it is a weekend you know!)
We leave for the airport at 7am and will arrive NYC at 3:30pm Eastern with most of us arriving home somewhere around midnight or shortly before. It will be a long day but the trip has been wonderful!
And while we did not see hammerheads that we saw the last time (it seems we missed 22 of them by only minutes)
we did see two thresher sharks, silkies and several reef sharks. And several of us saw an amazing courting cycle with two octopuses that ended the trip on a very high note! (Yes we promise video for you including a contest to name the video that will go on utube, facebook and more!)
The pictures have been amazing both above and below! You just HAVE to add this trip to your bucket list and then work to check it off! You won't be disappointed! More when we return....kamala
