But of course! Less than three weeks now, are y'all started to get excited?!?!?!?!?!

Hey Alan are you watching this thread? If so, next week when you are on the boat, if you get on the internet on the island, please post to this thread and let us know know all the current details! (He's on the boat next week, couldn't wait for us!)

Any else fly in before noon on the 10th and want to share a cab? I am trying to figure out where I can store my gear, so I can go run around before we can get on the boat.

And just in case everyone else is not counting down the days...two more weeks and we will be diving! :wakawaka:

Hey Kelly, it looks like you will be the first one to arrive. The next person will arrive 1 1/2 hours after you. Do you want to wait at the airport for Sue and Jeff to arrive?

Hey did anyone else see the article about this itinerary (with Nekton) in the March/April issue of ScubaDiving? I may be a little late reading that magazine - I don't always go through my mail on a regular basis :wakawaka: - but of course the first thing I did was open that magazine. Flipping through the pages, I saw the Rorqual... a friend was over and I think I kind of scared her because I sort of yelped when I saw the distinctive Nekton boat... and then I saw the article was about Mayaguana and I was like... OMG that is our trip they are talking about!!! :)

Like I wasn't excited enough already!!! :elf: :elf: :elf: I don't how I am going to make it 13 days. ` :wakawaka:

Can't wait to see old friends (Joe and Kamala) and meet new ones! :wakawaka:

(Oh the article was two pages, some quotes: "While many of the Mayaguana sites are unexplored, expect healthy reefs bursting with life like gray angelfish" "There's no set dive plan for Mayaguana. All dives are exploratory, and guests will help identify new sites")

Sandy thank you for organizing people's flight details for them. Also there are a few changes to the posted logistics on the Nekton website that I will have ironed out on Wednesday for you. Stay tuned as they will cover taxi's to the boat, when to arrive etc.

I arrive on Friday April 9th - Staying at The Sands at Grace Bay http://www.thesandsresort.com/ - Located middle of the Island about 10 minutes away from the Airport

Might catch a dive or snorkel that day and early Sat morning. ( Just Chillin & Grillin)

I talked to Nekton today and they said after 1:30pm on Saturday you can load your gear on board. Hang around if you want and get something to eat before boarding at 7:00pm Boat departs at 8;00pm. Me - I am not hanging around no commercial pier for hours I will be at the resort to at least 5:30 pm

The boat "Nekton Rorqual " will not be at the Nikki Beach Marina per their website It will be located at the commercial pier (south dock) near the airport. The Boat cell number is 954-253-5574 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting 954-253-5574 end_of_the_skype_highlighting

Not sure if I will rent a car for the day or not. Have a friend that goes to Provo a lot and said if you need a good taxi service that is reasonable try:

Tina Taxi - 649-344-2018 or 649-243-1672 you can e-mail her also at Tinawalkinwalkin26@yahoo.com

I called her already, she told me it would be $26.00 for a ride to my hotel.

My cell will be on also ** - Jeff Hayden's Cell

Jeff aka JHeyNow

** Moderator edit to remove personal cell phone number. Contact ScubaPunk if you need to contact Jeff
