Scuba Regulator Savvy by Pete Wolfinger
Fifty Places to Dive before you die by Chris Santella
Solo Diving by Robert Von Maier
Germany's U-85 by Jim Bunch
many of the Lonely Planet series and books of his variety
What books do you have in your Diving Library that you like and why? Are they informative books like the Lonely Planet series? Non-fiction like the mentioned Shadow Divers? Reference books like the student workbooks you buy at the start of each new class?
Each wreck has a tale to tell about its life and its demise.
If you are observant while diving in dark places listen to the account each has to tell, You cannot come away unaffected.

I mostly have fish, sea creature, and coral identification books for different areas of the world, so I can try to figure out "what's in that picture I took??"
I have kept all of my training texts, and still go through them from time to time, for reinforcement.
I've been collecting Dive Training magazine, and share articles sometimes here on SD.com.

Several critter ID books for the Pacific Northwest region
Shadow Divers
Last Accent
several mags
I know there are more but like WW most of my dive books are still in boxes.
I really need to unpack and get the library in order.
Need to get a few new critter ID books for the Gulf and Florida waters.

I found it to be a very valuable resource when I first trained to dive, and maybe I need to dust it off and use it to help with our 2010 Fitness Challenge!

Ooohhhh, I just found another one on my shelf! It's called Fitness for Divers, by Cameron L. Martz. It discusses diving & anatomy & exercise, cardiovascular conditioning, strength training, stretching, exercising on a dive day, dive day nutrition, and provides various levels of Programs to follow. Pictures & everything, to show you how to properly perform the exercises (or for those who freely admit that they DON'T read the articles! )

Hey Tammy, you've peaked my librarian interest with that one... there should be a number (usually by the barcode used by the stores for sale) that is the ISBN number, either 10 or 13 digits, can you find it... would like to find that book...(or if that's too much, a copyright date).

The ISBN number is: 0-9770719-0-1
The back cover also gives this web site: www.divefitness.com, which is the author's informational website. I have not visited it myself yet.
