Been polishing my moves for the Yucatan Luau: :lmao: (Imagine grass skirt and you got it!)
I admit I'm juiced over my inaugural Belize adventure, but promise to behave... :cool1: Who am I kidding? I'll be packin' bail bucks for backup. :teeth:

Hmmm. Sounds like fodder for a sequel to Pup's Heading to Belize Baby. :D
I've retrieved an impounded scooter from the Mexican police around midnight (my buddy was tucked safely into a cab with fare in hand) but never a buddy. :cool2:

Wow! What a comfort to learn such a resourceful, intrepid dive angel is on board :wakawaka: to help WW herd us raucous dive Taz's. :teeth:

Lynn, I plan to avoid the need for your bail bondsoman talents but look forward to sharing tales of past exploits over drinks on some breezy Belizian balcony, come January. :angel2:

P.S. Way cool new avatar with the dolphin! :cool2:

I think avoidance is a good plan considering my first attempt with the Mexican police resulted in directions to the bathroom. :D

Looking forward to trading tales. YAY Belize - a small but fun group so far.

ATL-BZE dropped from $723USD to $492USD with American, so I pounced. Please reserve my island hop connection from BZE to the resort island (09 Jan) and back (16 Jan) as described in the top post. :thankyou:

That is great news! I think I jumped too soon on my ticket! :2cool:

I am routing via Dallas from GSP and paid $730 for my ticket. When I looked it was the same to fly from GSP vs ATL but without the 3.5 hr drive so I took GSP. ATL has dropped significantly but I booked already as seats were limited on one of the legs.

Gotta love the air game! :thankyou:

Okay - this is crazy! If you fly ATL MIA BZE it's $492 but the fare from MIA to BZE (your same two flights) is $899. :2cool:

Yeah, I noticed that. I actually had fare watchers set up for ATL, MIA as well as IAH (Houston). It seems the airlines are hip to sneaky :wakawaka: 's like me... well... us. :tears:

You must have meant like you. :-D

Did fare watcher (and which one) notify you of the drop in price? Trying to figure out if I can rely on it.

The fare watcher feature on Travelocity tipped me to the lowered fare in Atlanta, but it was almost six hours after I had already discovered the lower fare myself using the search engine on www.kayak.com (recommended earlier in this thread, and my first experience with that site).

Excelsior! Excelsior, dangit! :fish:

*a-HEM* It appears a brief Southernese Slang language lesson is in order. *Taps pointer on whiteboard*

Ya'll - Everyone within the sound of one's voice.
Example: "Ya'll come on in, an' have some greens."

All Ya'll - Everyone within a broad definable spectrum.
Example: "All ya'll MN folks are welcome down here for some divin' when the ice gets too thick to dive through up yonder."

Ya'll are welcome in advance. :-D

P.S. That's a way cool pirate parrot personal photo! :wakawaka:

Hmm, I'm confused now (yeah, I know it's a short trip for me :D ). I was in a restaurant in lovely North Carolina and the waitress asked 'what do y'all want?' When I tried to confirm she was talking to me instead of the group in general, she replied 'I said Y'ALL. If I would have meant ALL Y'ALL, I would have said ALL Y'ALL.'

The bird was a loaner from a guy in a bar. She gave kisses. So cute.

Um... ANY ice is too thick to dive through. :lmao:

Oh - and even though I'm sure I shouldn't go here, can you explain the frequent references to 'the war of Northern aggression'? I thought we had that settled? :P

I'm planning on making this trip however I must depart on January 15 instead of the 16th. Just talked to Kamala.

Airline complete:
AA 2193 09 Jan 2010 DFW to BZE Depart: 12:55PM Arrive: 3:45PM

AA 2194 15 Jan 2010 BZE to DFW Depart: 4:50PM Arrive: 7:55PM

Used airline miles so I was only charged $24 for taxes! :thankyou: :thankyou: :cool1:

Looking forward to meeting everbody and having a GREAT Time!!!!

I was just at the Tides at the start of November and Patojo had all but 2 boats out of the water getting work done and was doing some painting/renovation on the Hotel.

Welcome to the trip Brad!

Couple of questions: Do you want double or single occupancy? Diving Nitrox? Have trip insurance? Dive insurance? :teeth:
