I did notice a restaurant right at the hotel ... that could be a last resort...

I just checked the website... it will be at the airport Crowne Plaza. We'll have to do some scoping out the area for happy hour possibilities.

While the airport is technically in airport..it always seems closer to Kansas than it does the city, or for those of us who live west..

That's an area that may take some research. I know there are a bunch of places around that hotel, but I haven't been out there in almost a year. It is a pretty big room though. My friend used have his MMA fights there, until this fall they moved them to the University of Denver.

I did go to a computer convention there once, but it was a decade ago, back when it was a holiday inn..

Any other weekend except the first weekend of any month. I don't drink much anymore anyway. It wouldn't be the first time I stayed out too late on a reserve weekend. Last year I had one on my birthday. That next day putting on my uniform and going to work was interesting, what I remember of it anyway. LOL

Again, I would still go, I just wouldn't stay too late if I had reserve duty. Probably til 10 or 11 if in Denver to account for the drive home.
