What a disapointment. :cool2: Hockey is the most frustrating game in the world to watch.

Congratulations to the Canadians! They played a great game.

It truly was a toss up...both teams were exceptional. If it had been a rout I would say one team was TRULY better than the other...but it was too close to say that. Both teams played exceptionally well...timing was better for our Northern Friends! :birthday:

Yesterday's hockey game was the only Olympic event I got to watch and it was a great game (although I would have preferred a different ending). Congratulations to our neighbors to the North (brrr). Of course I was hoping the US would win, Canada would then declare war on us and win, and we'd finally get health care!

We are so proud of all our Canadian athletes, and of a great games. :cheerleader:

And....what a great Hockey game!!!

Am I mistaken, or did the world get a bit of a surprising different view of Canada? Not so much "brrrrrr" as ??green grass and flowers in February?? Vancouver was showing it's usual early spring.

Bill, you crack me up with the healthcare comment. I confess, I wouldn't trade my terrific Canadian health care.
David Letterman was pretty funny on the Monday after the games, playing the Canadian National Anthem and suggesting we trade anthems and that the US should take over Canada to get the good anthem.

There were three Canadian networks that did a consortium to broadcast the games here, and every minute of every event was available. Check out ctvolympics.ca if you are interested.
