Hello Kamala,

A couple quick questions.....As this was my first echeck transaction, what is the normal time delay with it? I expected to see that I progressed from the in mail status, to the paid status this morning. Second, what is the weight suggestion? Guessing that I should wear a 2 mil suit for protection issues, do I add 5 pounds to the normal weight or something? Thanks. Ed

Hey Ed...

Payment Updates:

normal delay is 24 hrs...in order to NOT miss any payments or duplicate them...we only post payments once daily and for a full calendar day. So on the 5th I would post payments for the 4th...but none posted on the 5th.

We left SC heading for NY at midnight last night and drove until a few minutes ago. I'll be getting payments updated shortly for yesterday!

p.s. Since I am the only person that sends payment info to Scubapunk for posting, if I am traveling without internet access then payments will be delayed until I get access and time again.

p.s. sometimes with a trip that is filling very fast I may post payments earlier to prevent someone from sending in money if there is not a seat for them to take.

Weighting:

As for weighting...you typically wear 6-8 pounds more than you wear in FRESH WATER. If you normally dive the same amt of rubber in salt then you are probably already 3-4 heavy for fresh water so would need to wear 3-4 more on top of what you would wear in salt water GIVEN THE SAME EXPOSURE SUIT.

In ocean diving we do NOT want to be heavy. In Cooper River diving you do want to be heavy so you can stay close to the bottom more easily.

As for weighting...you typically wear 6-8 pounds more than you wear in FRESH WATER. If you normally dive the same amt of rubber in salt then you are probably already 3-4 heavy for fresh water so would need to wear 3-4 more on top of what you would wear in salt water GIVEN THE SAME EXPOSURE SUIT.
