5nites 4 days s/o = $1130
3 rental tanks for 4 days = 3tanks x $12 x 4 days = $144 for rentals
1 tank of fills for 3 days = 1tank x $8 x 3days (assumes tank is full when you arrive) = $24
Total is $1298 less $1204 = $94 balance.

Fly In 4 days diving 5 nites d/o $875 s/o $1130
Drive In 4 days 4 nites d/o $824 s/o $1028

PLUS...
If adding 4 rental tanks (all alum 80's) @ $12 per tank your rental price is $192 for 4 days.
If filling your own 4 tanks @ $8 per tank your fill price is $96 for 4 day trip (assumes tanks are full when arrive)

Hey, go easy on yerself. i had to use a calculator! (Like i said, not a "good" engineer!)
Any news of how to get the permit to collect artifacts? Or am i guilty of not reading the blurb again?
Also can i get a total balance outstanding so i can send you a completion payment?
One more thing, can you give any guidance on kit set up. If i'm hearing right and there's loads of old guff floating down the river i might cut down on gear in the hopes of avoiding snaggs on fishing line and other garbage. Would one leave a safety sausage etc ON the to keep list tho?

Great question! YES you want to be as streamlined as possible. There are no real picture ops so leave the underwater camera's at home. Leave ANYTHING that can snag or drag along the bottom and possibly rip off your bc/bp/kit. The boat provides a safety sausage so you can use it free of charge or bring your own. (The boat's have a line attached so they are easy to use and FREE!) There will not be much garbage or fishing line...mostly rocks/fossils UNLESS we do a site close to shore where the artifacts are and that is a bit of a different story but still not bad.
