Any news of how to get the permit to collect artifacts? Or am i guilty of not reading the blurb again?

I have to follow up again since its a new thing.


I printed this out and sent away for it a week or two ago. They were quick in responding, and I already have a license. Hope it is the correct thing, and hope it helps. Ed

The prollem for us foreign types is gettin them the payment. Would it be too cheeky to ask that if we fill out the application and scan/email it to you Kamala, that you'd forward the apps plus the payment to the powers that bleed, and juss add $20 for me and Tony (+3% for Paypal) to my bar tab? If they reply to your address, could we then collect the approval doc's from you at site?

(The "thanks" for the patience was pre-emptive, as it turns out.........who knew?)

What about my sausage? Should i bring that or is it just a "swim to the side job" in the event of sweepage away?
Or will that just increase my chances of close encounters of the reptilian kind?

IMPORTANT TRIP UPDATE:

One of the divers on the trip has had a personal matter arise and would like to give up their spot to someone else interested if they want it.

Since we are officially full I can help him release this spot HOWEVER I do need someone to do a single room so if you are interested in this trip...don't want to wait 2 years before we offer it again AND you don't mind doing a single room....

ANOTHER IMPORTANT TRIP UPDATE:

How many people are driving and how many are flying?

Why? We usually have about 50% who drive to SC and 50% that fly. That being said we carpool with the drivers to the dive site as the hotel is close but not next to it.

If we do not have any drivers...we will need to rent several cars or at least one very large SUV or small van in order to get to and from the dive sites.

So is anyone driving? (The boat capt is but he has to leave early to pick up tanks so is not able to transfer people from the hotel to the diving site.)

I will be driving, and will be able to haul gear in my truck if that helps. I also had another thought. As it looks like three of us have a collecting license, and the others do not yet, we can always use the unlicensed divers to point out artifacts to us for extra collection. Ed

And thank you for the truck assistance....any chance of getting you to swing an s/o? Two out of 3 ain't bad but I'd love to see a home run!
