SD had such a great showing at our first Our World Underwater thanks to TimAlso for getting a great booth and set up and to Greg aka Greg@iphil for generously picking me up at the airport, letting me stay with him and his lovely wife, and of course helping to work the show every day and to John aka BJ Mathpro for working all 3 days of the show making it a HUGE Success!!

Yes we'll be doing the 4th of July event at the quarry. Will be tackling that shortly just trying to finish out the events calendar so I can finish out trip planning. I'll start a separate topic for it!

Haige Quarry over 4th of July! Greg is going to help run the event and I'm sure would love some help! I left him support materials to tell folks about SD.

I live in the Chicago area and would be willing to man/woman the booth for 3 hours. I am a newer/inactive member but am single and a diver (Costa Rica, Loreto and Cabo Pulmo Mexico this year) and would like to meet other local divers. Carol

And speaking of details...I am not sure if I'm staying with Greg@iphil again or not...so I may be looking for a couch to crash on during the show.

Hey fellow SD-ers!

I will be playing this trade show again this year, so I look forward to seeing you all there! On a side note, as a frugal musician who would love to keep playing music, if anyone knows of any clubs/restaurants/dive shops/etc. that might be interested in a private show from The Scuba Cowboy while I'm out that way, please pass along my name and contact information. I can also do Trop-Rock (island music) or Country music shows, but of course my preference on dive related trips is Scubaribbean music, if at all possible. I'm just always looking for extra shows/events to play while at the trade shows to help offset the cost of getting there. As always, thanks so much for the continued support and keep makin' bubbles baby!

To me Pup was the highlight of the show! I'll have to see if I can have a booth near him this year so I can hear him play!

So do we have any volunteers for this year? I'm hoping Greg aka greg@iphill can help and pick me up at the airport like he did last year! (He also let me use his couch as well!)

Hey gang...things are set with Greg aka greg@iphill so I have a ride from the airport and back to it...a couch to sleep on and ride to the show each day! THAT IS HUGE!!! Thank you Greg!!!!


Now we just need more volunteers to help us!
