For those bringing some Life Supplies for the orphanage, see this link to get an idea of the wide range of kids we'll be helping. This video was taken last year when some of the kids visited the resort to get the donation. That was when we learned of their great need for the Life Supplies vs. school supplies.

Another question. What's the availability of internet access? Looking at the Divi website it appears that they charge for internet access. It this true?

Carla, there has always been free wi-fi in the lobby area if you bring your own laptop. In fact, that's usually where you can find the Wench during the day when she's not on the boat!

If you do not bring a laptop, you can use their Business Center for the following fees:
High-Speed Service at Business Center
15 mins - $4.00
30 mins - $6.00
1 hour - $10.00

In an effort to speed up the dive shop check in process, I have uploaded their forms in the Private Discussion area! Please print the forms that apply to you (air divers = 2 forms, nitrox divers = 4 forms), fill them out, & bring them to the dive orientation meeting on Bonaire.

Only 12 days and a wake-up!

I've already started laying out my gear & checking off my list. Can you tell I'm anxious to get back into the water?

I mean, my winter hiatus is 174 days dry this time......that's very hard on a Dive Nut!!

According to InfoBonaire.com, at 4pm on 2/20/11 the air temp is 84.4 degrees, and the water temp is 82.5 degrees!!!

My friends, it just doesn't get much better than that.

Anybody else going to jump on this trip last minute? We're running out of time! Come and dive with us!

Thanks for the update Tammy. Don't know for sure if I'll bring the laptop but I will have my iPhone so I can at least do emails.

Haven't started packing but I'm thinking about packing.

The long range forecast is for a snowstorm right before I'm scheduled to leave. It had better not mess with my departure!

I have a dentist appointment next week for a cleaning....I think I'll ask him to donate some toothbrushes and toothpaste!

My dentist ROCKS!!! His office put together a number of goodies for us....toothbrushes, toothpaste, lollipops that help re-mineralize teeth, floss, etc. Enough for 20 kids! I'll bring it along with some other Life Supplies I'm bringing.
