Pretty much all packed. Now I have a couple of kitties that are not so happy, but I have a friend that is going to come and stay with them

Because this is Carnival time on Bonaire, all businesses will be CLOSED on Monday 3/7/11. Since grocery stores are always closed on Sundays on the island, I highly recommend that if you need anything from a store (can you say beer or mixers??) you should go and get it when you arrive on Saturday! Just sayin'.

So far the snow has missed us, so hopefully no flight problems.
Carnival festivities might be a great place to look for costume items.
It looks like there are several Carnival parades starting on Saturday. Sounds like fun!

I am going to bring a few cans of frozen concentrate for use as mixers, so that should help a bit for the first couple days. Ed
